Hill Skills Courses

Do you want to learn new skills to help you get out and explore the mountains of Britain in summer conditions under your own steam? If so, my summer hill and mountain skills courses are a great place to start.

Your course will be led by me, a highly experienced and locally-based Winter Mountain Leader. Living just a stone's throw from the Cairngorm Mountains, we are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing suitable venues to learn and develop your new skills.

Course highlights

Based out of Aviemore in the Cairngorms National Park.

Small groups (maximum 4 participants).

Complimentary use of map, map case and compass included in the course price.

Choose between scheduled events, available for individuals to join as part of a small, open group, and private courses, which can be run throughout the summer (May to September inclusive) on mutually-agreeable dates to suit you and your group.
