2-day Hill and Mountain Skills Course
Is it for me?
This course is designed for beginners to hill walking, helping you to get out and explore the hills under your own steam in summer conditions. Based out of Aviemore, you will be "learning by doing" whilst exploring some of the incredible mountain scenery we have here in the Cairngorms National Park.
Course content
Over the two days we will look at:
- What to pack (and what not to pack!);
- What to wear;
- How to plan a mountain day taking into account weather forecasts and other factors;

- What to do in the event of an emergency.
