Winter
Under a coating of snow and ice, Scotland’s mountains take on a whole new character. While undoubtedly beautiful, venturing on to the high tops in winter conditions presents additional challenges, not least due to short daylight hours, sometimes (often!) poor weather, and the very real hazards that exist in this environment.
Making the transition from hill walking in summer to winter is a big jump, so why not take advantage of an experienced and knowledgeable local guide? I offer Guided Winter Hill Walking as well as 1-day Winter Skills Courses and 2-day Winter Skills Courses.
Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
